Celebrating 50 years of roofing
This August marks 50 years in the roofing industry for our Founder and CEO, Barry Huber. This is a milestone that offers an opportunity to reflect on an incredible journey. As we celebrate five decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and lasting relationships, we're looking back at how the company has grown, the legacy we've built, and the exciting future ahead!
Reflecting on the lasting relationships and meaningful work that have defined the company's legacy, one of Barry’s favorite projects completed during his 50-year roofing career was the ridge at the Biltmore Estate. This project used such careful planning and ingenuity to complete, making it one of his most successful projects! To recreate the ridge, 988 individual pieces were stamped, molded or soldered together. Upon completion of the ridge, the Owner's representative shared how much they enjoyed working with our team and were genuinely sorry to see the project come to an end.
Huber’s career was shaped by experience, perseverance, and a willingness to embrace new opportunities. He notes he fully realizes he didn't do it alone... having spent years on roofs himself, Barry states " I am so grateful and recognize how much of this is owed to the those who were on the roofs, in heat and in cold, and all the support staff behind those teams in the field". We at Huber and Associates look forward to the many more opportunities to create more than just satisfied customers, but writing the next chapter of this continuing story.
