We had the pleasure of designing and installing this custom copper “S” tile roof for a private residence in the British Virgin Island. A few years after it was installed, Hurricane Irma swept through the islands, causing much damage throughout as 185mph winds tore through. The roof tiles fared well, with the majority of damage coming from portions of the house being blown completely off. Because of the roof strength, the homeowners requested for Huber to rebuild their home in lieu of the General Contractor. Huber did so, and reinforced the structure better than it originally was to help protect against any future storms.
